Jaxon was very excited so I immediately opened the Mess Free Marker and Paper and let him play with it. I like that this marker will only write on the special paper. I was able to let Jaxon walk around in our living room without worrying about whether he was going to stain the couch or write on the walls. The Toddler Grip Marker made it easy for Jaxon to hold. Since Jaxon also loves to taste his writing utensils, I was happy to see that all Crayola art products are non-toxic. One thing I love is that the shape of this marker makes it less likely that Jaxon is going to put it in his mouth. It would also be very difficult for him to bite the tip off this marker and it's impossible for him to shove it down his throat and gag himself.
Jaxon's favorite product was definitely the triangular crayons. He spent a long time coloring with them (look how focused he is - he would not look up at me, no matter how many times I asked). I really like the dry erase activity mat with crayons. It's perfect for the car or doctor's office waiting room or church. It includes 12 activity and coloring sheets that can be placed in the clear plastic covering, offering a fresh slate for coloring each time.
When you're ready to go, just fold it up - the crayons and E-Z erase cloth store in a pouch on the back.
Britain (my 8 year old) actually liked the Musical Rub Art Station much more than Jaxon did. It's age is for 24m +, so the effects may have just been lost on Jaxon because of his age. It is a fun toy, though, with farm themed templates and the music and animal sounds to match!
